How was it before and how will it be now?
There may already be underage/incapacitated patients in your clinic. To save their data and bring it to a new look, Medlock made updates as follows:
- If a minor/incapacitated patient has a guardian listed and he is not listed in your database as a separate patient, Medlock will create a guardian as a patient and link him to the minor/incapacitated.
A patient will be added to your database. - If a minor/incapacitated patient has a guardian specified and he is already in your database as a separate patient, the MEDLOCK will take this patient as a basis and link him to the minor/incapacitated. At the same time, the data about the guardian from the minor/incapacitated patient will not be transferred to the existing card of the patient-guardian.
The number of patients in your database will not change. - If you have had several minor/incapacitated patients with the same caregiver and he is not in your database as a separate patient, Medlock will create a caregiver as a patient and link him to the minor/incapacitated.
A patient will be added to your database.
Medlock recognizes an existing patient in the database as a guardian if the full name, date of birth, and phone number match. Otherwise, a duplicate of the patient-guardian will be created.
Creating a patient with a caregiver
You can create a minor/incapacitated patient in the same way as an ordinary patient. Consider creating a minor/incapacitated patient with a guardian from an appointment.
In the reception, click «+Новый пациент».

Select «Ребёнок»the or section «Недееспособный гражданин»and enter all the necessary information about the minor/incapacitated patient. In this section«Опекун», you can add an existing guardian to your database, or create a new one.
If the guardian is already in your database, find him in the search (item 1) and click on him (item 2). He will automatically be attached to a minor/incapacitated patient.
The search only works for patients of the type «Взрослый».

You can add up to 10 guardians for one minor/incapacitated patient.
After selecting, the linked guardian will be displayed in the patient information.:

If a guardian is not already in the database, you can create one. He will immediately be attached to a minor/incapacitated patient. To do this, enter the details of the new guardian in the search and click «Добавить нового пациента»or «Новый опекун»(depending on the search results).

Enter all the necessary information about the guardian and click «Добавить».

When all the data is entered, add a minor/incapacitated patient to the appointment.
If there are several guardians for a minor/incapacitated patient, you can select the one you need or create an additional guardian to receive a guardian by clicking the button«Сменить».

Then you can fill it out and start receiving it in the same way as others.
More information about all the features of working with the appointment of minors and incapacitated patients can be found in the article at the link.
Changing the type of patient

- Kid
- Under the age of 18
- The absence of the contacts section
- A guardian is required
- Personal data management is regulated by the guardian
- An incapacitated citizen

By default, when creating a patient, the type is selected«Взрослый». You can change the patient type at any time, however, the restrictions mentioned above must be observed.
Displaying the list of caregivers in the patient's profile
The card of a minor/incapacitated patient will display all the guardians associated with him. The entire list of guardians can be viewed by clicking on the button«Ещё».

You can add up to 10 guardians for one minor/incapacitated patient.
In cases where the guardian was added by mistake or the information is no longer relevant, the guardian can be detached from the minor/incapacitated patient. This can be done anywhere where editing of a minor/incapacitated patient is available.
It is not possible to untie the sole guardian from a minor/incapacitated patient, such a patient must always be associated with a guardian. You must first add a new guardian, and then untie the old one.
To untie the guardian, click «Редактировать»(item 1) on the minor/incapacitated patient and in the section «Опекуны»click on the cross at the appropriate guardian (item 2).

When you untie a caregiver, he is not deleted and remains in the database as a separate patient.
Confirm the unbinding of the guardian with the button«Отвязать», and then save the edited minor/incapacitated patient.

Certificate for tax deduction
To receive a tax deduction certificate, click «Налоговый вычет»(item 1), select the year of the certificate form and «Налогоплательщик, оплативший медицинские услуги»select the necessary guardian from the list (item 2) in the section.

If necessary, the data can be corrected. If you change/replace/delete something in this window, the changes will not be saved in the guardian's card data.

When choosing a guardian, you can specify another person besides the attached guardians. After selecting the item«Другой человек», a new patient is not created in the database.
Removal of guardian and minor/incapacitated patient
The guardian, as well as the minor/incapacitated patient, are separate patients in the database and can be deleted (moved to the archive). At the same time:
- You cannot remove the last guardian from a minor/incapacitated patient. You must first add a new guardian, and then remove the old one.
- If there are already completed receptions/orders with the remote guardian, then nothing changes in them.
- If there are still open receptions at the time of the guardian's removal, the guardian will be automatically replaced with the next one on the list of guardians.
- If you remove a minor/incapacitated patient and then remove his guardians, their relationship will be preserved.
- When a minor/incapacitated patient is restored from the archive, he will be restored with a guardian.
- Minor/incapacitated patients are not restored when they are restored from the guardian's archive.
If a minor/incapacitated patient's guardian is replaced, and the old guardian does not need to be completely removed, you can untie the guardian from the minor/incapacitated patient without deleting it from the database. Read more about this in the article at the link.
